CLINCITOP GEL

Clincitop Gel 20 gm belongs to the class of medication called ‘lincosamide antibiotics‘ primarily used to treat bacterial skin infections like acne (pimples), infections of abdomen, bone, skin, heart and soft tissues. Bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria grow in the body and causes illness. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Clincitop Gel 20 gm will not work for viral infections, such as common cold and flu.

Clincitop Gel 20 gm contains ‘Clindamycin’ that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, which stops bacterial growth. It shows a bacteriostatic effect, which prevents the multiplication of bacteria but doesn’t kill them. Clincitop Gel 20 gm effectively treats infections caused by gram-positive and anaerobic (living without air) bacteria, including susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Clostridium perfringens. Clincitop Gel 20 gm treats serious infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria in the abdomen, gastrointestinal tract, lower respiratory tract, on the skin, and in the genitourinary area
